Benefit Concerts

With David’s growing exposure, he has been asked several times to perform benefit concerts for various causes.  David is delighted to join forces with other ministries to do this.  Because David supports his family full-time in this ministry, it’s important for the hosting ministry to meet David’s fees and travel expenses.  After those are met, all the money that comes in for the benefit goes to support the cause.

Previous benefits David has performed concerts for include:

  • World Concern / Women of Purpose – Child Trafficking prevention in Cambodia
  • World Concern / Puget Sound Women of Purpose – Trafficking prevention in Bolivia
  • Emergency Feeding Program of King County – Hosted by St. Luke’s, Bellevue, WA
  • Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church, Puyallup, WA  – Mission trip fundraiser
  • St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church, Lacey, WA – Hurricane Katrina relief benefit for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church & School in Lakeview, Louisiana
  • Liberty Ridge Church, Kent, WA – Fundraiser for the church mission trip to the Vasilevsky Orphanage in Russia

(Note: if David is invited to provide a concert as an auction item, the bidding must start above his fee plus travel expenses, and the concert must be “redeemed” within a specific timeframe, and hosted in a venue with a sound system capable of supporting David’s needs.)
