Consulting

David has led worship at hundreds of gatherings in many denominations as a guest worship leader, and he has worked with many worship teams in a variety of settings.  He can be hired for a consultation with a worship team mid-week (Monday through Thursday) for a flat fee of $350.00 plus travel (which is determined by round trip mileage from Marysville, WA).  This involves David teaching his seminar called “The Peripheral Worship Leader,” and then coaching the team (often at their regularly scheduled evening rehearsal time.)

The timeframe for the session (teaching plus the consulting) can be up to 3 hours.  During this time, David encourages, gently criticizes, prays for, and instructs the team.  He brings humor, sincerity, and a biblical foundation into all aspects of the consultation.
What people are saying about David’s consulting

"Our worship teams had an incredible consultation with David.  We have several worship teams with different styles, and each team benefited from all the tips that David shared.  Throughout David’s presentation, I kept saying to myself ‘I am glad he talked about that.’  I know that because of what we learned from David, our teams will not be the same.  We praise God for David's incredible ministry to us."

"What a wonderful gift it was for our worship team to have the opportunity to learn from David.  His passion for Christ is tangible and contagious.  God is greatly using this servant of His, and we are already experiencing great fruit from our time with David."
- Mary Ekblad, Worship Team Co-Leader, First Presbyterian Church, Fairbanks, Alaska

“David challenged our worship team to grow as musicians and worship leaders.  His excellent musicianship inspired us to play and sing with greater confidence.  His spiritual insight took us beyond the music to the heart of worship.  We appreciated his gracious spirit and his encouraging attitude.”
- Danny Reding, Director of Music Ministry, Calvin Presbyterian Church, Shoreline, Washington

“As a worship director, I found David’s approach to consulting to be engaging, relevant, and informative.  The musicians and vocalists David worked with on our worship team were spiritually refreshed and motivated to lead worship in a new and creative way.  I fully expect to draw from what we learned at this consultation for years to come.”
- Alyssa Hansen, former Director of Worship, Music & the Arts, Mountain View Presbyterian Church, Marysville, Washington

“It was a pleasure to watch David at work as a consultant with our music team.  He was encouraging of our gifts and talents and offered suggestions with the non-threatening phrase:  ‘What if you tried it this way?’  Our music team came away from the consultation invigorated, excited, and ready to keep on praising God to the best of their ability.  David’s gracious approach to consulting blends technical music know-how with practical, encouraging advice.”
- Pastor Stephanie Hankey, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Anacortes, Washington

“During our worship team consultation with David, we were able to consider both our mission and our musicianship in a comfortable, hands-on setting.  His teaching on worship is clear, purposeful and applicable.  His feedback regarding our actual music was productive.  I know our ministry will be impacted by this consultation—we’ve all been encouraged as worship leaders and more importantly, as worshippers.”
- Valerie Holtgeerts, Worship Team Leader, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Anacortes, Washington

“David Harsh’s excellence in musicianship and, more importantly, his passion for serving Christ, were an inspiration to our team!”
- Ron Mallory, Director of Music and Worship, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, Maple Valley, Washington
